- Austin Crane was recognized yesterday at the GMD All-Hands as the 2016 GMD Contractor of the Year. This award is highly competitive, is only awarded once per year, and one of only 4 individual awards given to GMD Contractors. Austin's award was for technical excellence in Systems Engineering. Congratulations Austin!
SYSTEMS AND INTEGRATION
We provide technical analysts for space and weapon system performance assessment for design and testing purposes. Telemetry, scenario design, and safety analysis are performed for ICBM type and space missile test.

TEST AND EVALUATION
We participate in test planning, requirements definition, on site test evaluation, and quick look data analysis for test reporting.
VEHICLE DESIGN AND ANALYSIS
We provide missile systems and launch vehicle concept designs, defining requirements and functional performance, performing system synthesis and integration, and preparing development plans for major NASA and missile defense programs.
MODELING AND SIMULATION
We develop algorithms for models of interceptors and launchers, radars, command and control, and for space craft operations. Models are developed and utilized in system performance analysis, test planning, and post-test analysis processes.
Willbrook has performed high-level analysis for a multitude of DoD customers, including the Missile Defense Agency. Willbrook has experts in the field of test and analysis, radar analysis, trajectory analysis including failure turns and debris and risk analysis.
The video shown to the right shows real-time 3D visualization from a Willbrook developed tool which performs missile debris analysis for both intercept debris and failure termination systems debris. The tool is used to show radar field of view and intercept control volumes relative to assets in the area and trajectories for a scenario. The output from this tool has been used to generate blue water charts sent to congress in order to inform them of situations.
The tool has built-in datasets, such as world population density databases used in calculation risk assessment contours from the debris generated. Additionally, the user can input their own datasets, as the tool handles most data formats used in the industry. Trajectories can be input as STK ephemeris files as well as standard LLA, ECI and ECEF file formats in either true 6DOF or 3DOF. Geographic information is accepted in Google Earth format, ESRI ARC View format, as well as numerous others.
Unlike most closed-source tools, this tool is extendable by the end user due to it's unique module system, which exposes the underlying system API to the user allowing them to develop and insert new tools and capabilities into the system.
